i promised to come up with a theory so here it is:

why should you top-up more money on your ez-link at 1 time?

considering if one takes 3 minutes to top-up the card,
to top-up $10 everytime up to a total of $200 would take 3 x 20 = 60 mins

to top-up $200 a one go would only take 3 mins

if you top-up your card with $10 every week, you would top-up 4 times in 1 month and 20 times in 5 months
within 5 months you save like 57 mins of your life!

imagine if each minute was worth 20cents,
57 minutes would be $11.40

you would save $11.40 x 12/5 = $27.36 and 2hours 16 minutes and 8 seconds in a year!
